Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic declared by the WHO in March 2020 is a highly contagious disease, with predominantly respiratory symptoms caused by the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). There is no specific therapy. Preventive measures are the main strategy to contain the spread of the disease, which includes social distancing, self-isolation and quarantine, in addition to hygiene measures and the use of facial masks. In this context, telemedicine has been used to bridge the gap between doctors and patients. Health services had to implement infrastructure, care processes and remote patient guidance, as well as the improvement of  actions in teleducation.
