In recent decades, economic policy in higher education has changed significantly in different countries of the world. The goal of the study is to analyze modern approaches to regulating the labor status of a university teacher and its elements. The authors investigate the history of the transformations of higher education since the 1990s which resulted in higher education turning from the sphere of human capital production into an independent branch of the service sector. The article shows that, as a result of the higher education system reforms, changes in university management, the system of labor relations, and the socio-economic status of university teachers are taking place. Various university management models are explored. It is demonstrated that in the modern setting, internal control is replaced by external control, academic freedom is pushed aside by administration, and academic standards are modified and replaced by formal rules. These reforms are accompanied by major changes in labor relations and the role of management and teaching staff in universities. Various examples of the construction of labor relations with teachers adopted in different countries are studied. Close attention is paid to approaches to stimulating teaching activities. In the light of the current difficult situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the problems of labor relations aggravated with the transition to distance and blended learning are considered. The drawbacks preventing a higher quality of higher education in Russia are identified. Proposals for improving the regulation of labor relations in the field of higher education aimed at improving its quality are presented.
2021-01-22T15:48:17-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15130 The influence of art and artistic and creative activities on the quality of information assimilation (complementary semantic approach in education) 2021-01-22T17:22:36-03:00 Irina E. Currently, special importance in the higher education system is given to the issues related to the organization of such work with students. Having mastered the principal educational program, graduates should be ready to carry out professional activities in the field of applied research, as well as to solve various research tasks. To do this, the graduates must have a certain set of competencies, formed in various ways and methods in the course of professional training. One of the best ways to form competencies both in the field of future profession and research activities is professionally-oriented tasks. As a rule, such tasks are offered to students starting from the first year. Gradually, the level of complexity of the tasks increases, and to solve such tasks, senior-year students need knowledge across multiple disciplines. The most demanded and dynamic part of the labor market is currently represented by engineering specialists. However, successful professional and career growth, as well as the effective development of human capital as the main resource of the innovative development of modern society, requires a combination of engineering (hard skills) and humanitarian (soft skills) abilities in a specialist. The development of many socially significant processes in modern society demonstrates aggravated contradictions and the development of new realization trends many of which are associated with changes in the parameters of these processes which, in turn, is determined by the mass implementation of innovative digital technologies and globalization processes. Globalization as a process ensuring the accessibility and openness of information has a significant impact on the transformation of national values within a country in favor of the emergence of global social, moral, and legal values and social behavior norms in the field of political and state power, as well as the economy. Leadership as a social phenomenon bearing the main load of managing all socially significant processes is also changing. Leadership as a social phenomenon is subject to constant scientific study and analysis. For this purpose, the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organization Behavior Effectiveness) International Research Program was created. The GLOBE program coordinates the study of leadership in more than 60 countries which also supports the relevance of researching the phenomenon of leadership. One of the main directions is the optimization of the educational environment, in particular the management system. First of all, changes should take place at the level of education managers, who combine the qualities of a teacher, manager and psychologist. This necessity explains the increased requirements for the educational management. On the one hand, an important aspect is the competence of educational managers, on the other hand, we should deal with the system of interaction between managers and other participants of the university educational environment. Only a harmonious combination of these factors allows the university to function at the proper level. The problem of communication management in educational institutions is one of the most significant in the field of higher education. Communication is seen as one of the main resources for the development and growth of any organization. Communication as the process of sharing knowledge and information significantly affects the efficiency of an organization. The challenge of communication management is primarily in the fact that there are no clear criteria for monitoring the communication environment. This fact actualizes the problems of empirical research of communication management in the university education system. The most important dimension of optimization is the improvement of the communication environment, associated with the competence of employees and the system of their interaction. Thus, optimization of the communication environment makes it possible not only to improve management and communication processes, but also has a beneficial effect on the functioning of the university as a whole.
2021-02-16T11:33:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15255 Digital educational environment as a factor of military professional training of future officers 2021-02-16T12:53:51-03:00 Marina Georgiyevna Sergeeva sergeeva198262@mail.ru Alexey Sergeevich Korobov sergeeva198262@mail.ru Vladislav Borisovich Lukin sergeeva198262@mail.ru Egor Victorovich Paramonov sergeeva198262@mail.ru Alexander Olegovich Zaitsev sergeeva198262@mail.ru
The safety and comfort of the digital educational environment in the professional training of future officers are interdependent parameters determining the psychological impact on both individuals and groups. The educational environment is a combination of material factors, interpersonal relations and specially organized psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of a personality. The essence of the educational environment is represented as the interaction of its subsystems (local educational environments) and the creation of sustainable structure characteristic of a particular educational institution or educational system as a whole, which, on the one hand, influence the subjects of the educational environment, and on the other, are formed by them. The relevance of its application in teaching is determined by the context of the time, digitalization and virtualization of education, social trends, and features of the perception of information by today’s reader and viewer. The article substantiates the fruitfulness of using the book trailer in the educational environment by the results of content analysis of scientific works of Russian and foreign researchers, practitioners, and practical testing in the educational process. As an experimental research method, the authors used a survey of pupils of the sixth and seventh grades of the Second Malzhagar Middle School named after M.E. Vasilyeva of the “Khangalassky Ulus” municipal district, as well as rural teachers of the literature of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) of the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation. The survey involved 47 pupils and 31 respondents from among regional teachers of the Russian language and literature. The problem of reading was considered in terms of uncovering the creative potential of pupils of the sixth and seventh grades who were studying under the elective program "Book Trailer: Create, Watch, and Read". The research results aimed at determining the book trailer as an effective means of developing pupils’ interest in reading, implementing their creative abilities in the course of developing a product for the information and educational environment of the region. The authors conclude that the creation of book trailers is one of the most relevant motivators for pupils in their cognitive activity as it combines work with a book and mastering modern communication technologies, increases interest in learning and the level of motivation to read.
2021-02-16T12:51:24-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15263 Basic values of Russian and foreign students (comparative aspect) 2021-02-21T12:32:46-03:00 Tatiana Vyacheslavovna Nesterova TVNesterova@pushkin.institute Svetlana Georgievna Persiyanova TVNesterova@pushkin.institute Bagaudin Ibragimovich Karadzhev VNesterova@pushkin.institute
The article deals with the comparison of the basic values of modern students (Russian and foreign). Тhe phenomenon is comprehended simultaneously in the field of Russian patristic tradition and medicine, since it focuses pedagogical strategy and moral practice. In the Russian spiritual tradition, it fits into the processes of educating humanity, which receives a modern consideration both in moral and religious categories, and in the categories of natural science, which are significant for medicine. Spirituality is the category of thinking that changes the idea of a person in the existing reductionist approach to his integrity in medicine. The action of the worldview of the individual is considered as a mandatory constant, which acts as a constructive mechanism for the transformation of the value foundations of thinking and ethical reflection. It is part of a study aimed at understanding how Primary Education teachers signify cultural differences in their educational practices. It is a qualitative study with an (auto)biographical approach, in dialogue with the Cultural Studies in education, using educational practice journals, narrative interviews, and the biographical workshop for collecting information. The study revealed the experience with the differences in school in articulation with the cultural changes woven by clashes, conflicts, affirmation, denial, and negotiations. The results pointed towards different boundary spaces in the relationship between Education and differences, in which the movement and negotiation of meanings are essential to the formative process of teachers and students. Regarding the educational practice, the teachers narrate their experiences by placing them between the rigid boundary, with limitations, free from conflicts, denial, or resignation with differences; and the moving boundary, with the construction of spaces so that differences can be triggered, challenged, and problematized.
2021-02-27T10:28:12-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15315 Art, experience and alterity: reflections in the horizon of ethical and aesthetic education 2021-04-24T22:46:15-03:00 Maria Regina Johann maria.johann@unijui.edu.br
Oriented by the theoretical perspective of philosophical hermeneutics, this text addresses the ethical and aesthetic dimension of education, and it has the arts teaching as a reflexive field, emphasizing the artistic experience as a possibility for knowledge and self-awareness beyond the instrumental rationality frameworks. The situation of the latter is presented as a particular form of the general VUCA characteristics of the today’s world of uncertainty, unpredictability and qualitative complexity (‘supercomplexity’). It is argued that the main result of our acknowledgement of the VUCA situation in the world for higher education is the image of the developed human personality becoming the main value and at the same time the main goal of higher education. Under the conditions of volatility and ambiguity, any existing ‘ready-made’ knowledge, as well as any instructions for effective rational behavior, turns to be inadequate. Because of that, it is no longer sufficient to have a set of ‘competences’ as a final result of the educational process at today’s university. Higher education has to turn to developing in its graduates certain multidisciplinary qualities, like critical independent thinking and ability to create one’s own knowledge, up to aiming at an all-round development of cultured personality. The paper argues that the education of critical and creative thinking is closely related to the transition to student-centered learning, as each individual student is to become a full-powered subject of the educational process according to one’s own interests, abilities and curricula, with the role of a teacher starting to resemble that of a moderator, the one who is to help his or her undergraduates to navigate through the vast ocean of available information in order for them to choose and to create their own, personal knowledge. The latter task is especially enforced by the distant and online learning having become popular during the Covid-19 pandemic: that form of learning puts especially high demands on self-discipline and self-responsibility of a student’s personality, while presenting itself as rather a supplement than a replacement to more traditional forms of higher education with personal communication between student and teacher.
2021-04-24T23:09:34-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15372 Political formation in the bojo of university pedagogy: implications in the formation of future teachers 2021-04-24T23:34:31-03:00 Fabrício Oliveira da Silva fosilva@uefs.br Maria da Conceição Oliveira Lopes faolis@uol.com.br Jescilda Ferreira de Macedo Santana silvafaolis@gmail.com
In this context, implementing scientific ally conceived university didactics is a fundamental element of professional transformation of teachers and the improvement of the training practice they develop. One of the fundamental conditions for improving the quality of university teaching lies, in our view, in making possible a substantive change in the configuration of the professional identity of university teachers. In the light of these considerations, studies that provide theoretical modelling on investigative skills are insufficient since most theoretical and empirical results focus, specifically, on the training of a profession. The careers with the greatest presence in the subject are Medicine and Bachelor of Education. In the case of the latter, the most repeated object of study is initial investigative or postgraduate training. The values were compared as noted by respondents (1st-year students and university entrants) among different generations of Russians: their own world (the world of children), the world of parents and the world of grandparents. All the three generations are dominated by being oriented towards hard work, study, mutual assistance both within the global environment and within a small society, that is, within family. These positions are represented by the phraseological layers of the language, which indicates their presence in the Russian national value worldview. In the world of parents and in that of children, the emergence of new groups of values absent in the world of grandparents is recorded: orientation towards consumer values, perceived from advertising in the media, and at the same time the extinction of the value of serving the homeland. A new value stands out in the world of children – a humorous approach to life problems, which can be considered global because it contains quotations from world literature and borrowed phraseological units. This value is distinguished by an optimistic view of the world and the role of man in it, which is characteristic of youth. The research results allow asserting that Generation Z is ready to be creative and is oriented towards technology. Taking into account the peculiarities of the generation allows scientifically organizing educational leisure activities in technoparks.
2021-05-02T01:29:41-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/15662 A compilation on the application dimension of creative drama and bibliotherapy method in education 2021-05-11T12:20:43-03:00 Şengül Başarı sengul.basari@neu.edu.tr Seçil Besim Ayhan secil.besim@neu.edu.tr
Creative drama and bibliotherapy are among the most frequently mentioned methods in the field of education recently. In this sense, the article develops the discussion on rationality and irrationality of modernity (myth of modernity) and its transmodernity (overcoming), as it is directly related to the question of the negative dialectical method with the negation of otherness - of indigenous populations - in philosophical systems. Eurocentric totality and points out the analytical movement as overcoming, expanding and liberating the negative dialectical method. It also outlines the intercultural philosophy of Rául Fornet-Betancourt, which aims at a symmetrical dialogue between philosophical knowledge. It is inferred, from the Liberation of the Other as Alterity and Interculturality, the concrete existence of a dialogical relationship between philosophical knowledge, enabling greater cosmological, philosophical and educational enrichment, as well as the teaching of intercultural philosophy in indigenous schools. In these conditions, learning to provide a monologue in different world languages is becoming increasingly important to future linguists. According to the requirements of the new Federal Standard for Higher Professional Education, a linguist must be able to perform intercultural communication in various professional fields, conduct business negotiations, be an active participant in conferences, workshops and roundtable discussions using several working languages and search for topical information to improve his/her professional skills in the field of intercultural communication. Thus, the standard reflects the strategy of modern foreign-language education aimed to form the cultural and linguistic personality of the language expert who has reached a high level of the foreign-language professional communicative competence, which manifests itself in speech culture, an open-minded attitude to unfamiliar traditions and ways of life, along with the abilities for monologue and international professional communication. High-quality monologic speech is a personally and professionally significant skill, due to which specialists do not have difficulties with business conversations, reports, public messages and presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and freely participate in discussing the course and prospects of joint activities. Work on a piece of music is associated with certain difficulties and involves several stages – from reciting from paper to completion in the form of an exam or a concert performance. The final stage can be considered endless; there are no limits to perfection especially when it comes to the learning process. In Chinese music colleges, great attention is paid to students’ mastery of not only rich basic knowledge about music but also solid musical performance skills in accordance with the practice-oriented approach. Work on a musical piece is necessarily divided into several stages at each of which the process of musical training is focused on the repetition of technical exercises and rote memorization. From the point of Western pedagogs, such an approach to training is considered unproductive. However, it corresponds to such national character traits of Chinese people as diligence, hard work, and perseverance. The results of the “first wave” show that the community of teachers was not prepared for distance learning not only due to the lack of necessary competencies and skills of working in the online environment but also psychologically. In particular, the psychological unpreparedness of teachers for the transition from traditional formats of interaction to the remote ones, the collapse of the familiar “live” models of communication with students and colleagues turned up to be a major difficulty. Based on the results of research, the key problems of the organization of teachers’ remote work are determined and the socio-psychological consequences of remote employment are revealed. The main groups of risks faced by teachers due to the forced transition to remote employment are also identified. The impact of remote formats on the professional activities of teachers cannot be assessed unequivocally. On the one hand, in the time of remote work, teachers have developed new skills and competencies, mastered innovative online technologies, managed to overcome numerous psychological struggles, etc. On the other hand, teachers are aware that the necessary process of transformation of education will not only substantially change their professional activity but will also lead to the emergence of fundamentally new social roles and models of professional behavior. There is a growing sense of unease and confusion in the teaching community and negative expectations associated with uncertainty in the professional labor market are developing.
2021-07-31T11:17:49-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16166 Digital educational environment as a factor of developing teacher’s professional reflection 2021-07-31T11:54:38-03:00 Anna Konstantinovna Oreshkina oreshkinaa2015@yandex.ru Dmitry Vladimirovich Lukashenko oreshkinaa2015@yandex.ru Ivan Sergeyevich Samokhin oreshkinaa2015@yandex.ru Marina Georgiyevna Sergeeva oreshkinaa2015@yandex.ru
The article explores the problem of teachers’ reflexivity, its influence on the educational process and the specifics of teachers’ professional activity. The research purpose is a theoretical and empirical study of teachers’ reflexivity and its developmental specifics. The main forms of reflexivity development are lecturing, training, analysis, self-analysis and testing. To improve the personality traits which are important for reflexivity development (self-awareness, communication skills, empathy, identification of professional and personal value guidelines, etc.), a teacher may also use different games and tasks, along with various methods of analyzing the lessons and his/her own contribution to them. All these resources should be included in the annual plan of an educational organization. The results of the study allow concluding about the effectiveness of the declared measures for teachers’ reflexivity development. Within the changing domestic education system, one of the key challenges is training teachers who meet the requirements of the modern professional standard. A possible solution to this problem can be systematic work in an educational organization to improve the teacher’s underdeveloped qualities. One of these characteristics, which can influence the improvement of the teacher’s professionalism and ensure the compliance with the professional standard, is reflexivity. Along with the fact that reflexivity is among the most important components of the pedagogical activity, it is necessary to recognize the poor criterial basis for the professional reflexivity of teachers working in educational organizations, namely the applied aspects of its development within teachers’ methodological activity.
2021-07-31T11:53:24-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16177 Analysis of empathetic tendencies and conflict management strategies of teachers working abroad 2021-07-31T17:42:18-03:00 Perihan Mafratoğlu perihanmafratoglu@gmail.com.tr Münevver Yalçinkaya munevver.yalcinkaya@final.edu.tr
In this research, empathetic tendencies and conflict management strategies of teachers that were appointed by the Ministerial Common Culture Commission to work in the Northern Cyprus Turkish Republic (TRNC) while still working in schools governed by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education within the scope of overseas assignments were investigated according to various different variables.
2021-08-14T11:41:23-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/14289 What are the assessment instruments chosen by elementary school Teachers and what are the reasons to choose them?
Technology, however, simplifies everyday life and gives students plenty of opportunities to enroll in college and not study at all. This study's main purpose is to investigate this paradox, instill in student's love, positive motivation to study mathematics, and encourage them to complete their learning tasks. The research method is a survey of first-year students of the fields of study "Oil and Gas Business" and "Technosphere Safety" of Tyumen Industrial University to identify the motivation for their study of the university mathematics program. It was found that at the moment, it is easier for students to find a calculating job than to do it themselves, that the perception of mathematics as a subject in the first year affects not only further academic performance in the university but also the entire professional life of a person. To solve the problem of motivating first-year students to study mathematics, as we have found out, it is possible if: use the "first type" of motivation, which consists in the fact that is influencing the student, cause certain internal motives prompting to study mathematics; take into account the age and individual characteristics of students and each new stream in general.

2021-08-25T17:06:07-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/14196 Um One day of work of the Teacher of Chemistry: narratives of college students about teaching activity 2021-08-21T15:54:57-03:00 Rosana Franzen Leite rosanafranzenleite@gmail.com Fabiele Cristiane Dias Broietti fabieledias@uel.br Viviane Arrigo viviane_arrigo@hotmail.com
The aim of this study was to investigate the process of teaching learning, priorities, desires and difficulties experienced by academics in Chemistry, when describing a day of class as a high school teacher. At present, due to several major socio-economic changes, a transformation of labor relations in the system of higher education is taking place. As a result, new approaches to both the management of educational institutions and the selection of university faculty and the remuneration and career development of teachers are required. The goal of the study is to analyze individual modern trends in the development of incentive methods in higher education as a feature of personnel policy. The article demonstrates that as a consequence of the economic transformations, changes requiring an increase in the quality of graduates are occurring in university management which inevitably influences the expansion of the professional requirements for teaching staff. It is established that in modern conditions, external control is replaced by internal one, academic freedoms are displaced by the administration, and academic standards are modified and replaced by formal rules. This process is accompanied by considerable changes in the university personnel policy and the relationships between the administration and teachers. Various examples of human resources policy organizations adopted in different countries are studied. The guiding thread of the article is an interview with Carlos Rodrigues Brandão, for whom popular education is the work and militancy of a “thinking community”, which aims at a revolutionary process, whose liberation is the first matter of an education that is not characterized only by addressing the popular class. The origin of this tradition in the context of the 1960s, first in the effervescence of Latin American popular movements and revolutions, and then organized as resistance and fight against dictatorships, places this popular education as an insurgent practice, of organization and confrontation against the State. One of the unsolved issues is the problem of improving the content of the methodological preparation for conducting the course "Oil and Gas Chemistry" in higher education. It is reported that the logic of delivering the lectures and classes should correspond to the logic of students' assimilation of the subject matter, the formation of skills and abilities, motivation and stimulation of learning, and other components of the pedagogical process. It is spoken in detail about the theoretical prerequisites for developing a methodology for organizing a lesson in teaching the discipline "Oil and Gas Chemistry" on the basis of psychological and pedagogical laws of the algorithmic scheme for constructing a classical lesson in the natural science cycle. The quality assessment of the methodology of structuring the practical lesson proposed by the author was carried out according to the average value of the coefficients Kt or Kp; there was a significant increase, which indicates the effectiveness of the methodology proposed by the author.
2021-08-25T21:08:31-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16234 Considerations and inquiries about the dynamics of the Brazilian state facing the demands of schooling: instruments, dilemmas and complexity 2021-08-24T14:44:39-03:00 Sebastião de Souza Lemes anderson.cruz@unesp.br
The aim of this study is to understand issues of public policy, government and governance in relation to Education in Brazil, making use, for this analysis, of an understanding of evaluative and managerial instruments, in addition to public policies aimed at school education, to understand the scenario built in national education. In this sense, public institutions are being increasingly charged for the efficiency and effectiveness of their actions. From this context, evaluation mechanisms emerge to measure effectiveness and assign concepts to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). From the recognition of the instruments that recommend the institutional evaluation in Brazil, the mention of the planning actions, the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) becomes strategic, and in this it is observed as an indicator to be inserted, the accompaniment of graduates of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The objective of the research is to identify the actions and goals foreseen in the IDPs of Brazilian federal universities in the Southeast region to follow up their graduates. The development of this work was through the qualitative approach with documentary research, by searching the university websites for the available institutional information.
2021-08-24T14:40:46-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16264 Technology of Using Linguistic Markers in the Process of Art Therapy Training 2021-08-24T15:42:19-03:00 Marina Georgiyevna Sergeeva sergeeva198262@mail.ru Andrei Anatolievich Kochin sergeeva198262@mail.ru Dmitry Vladimirovich Lukashenko sergeeva198262@mail.ru Ekaterina Vladislavovna Kozhina sergeeva198262@mail.ru
The article examines the issues of students’ reflexivity, the impact of the reflexivity on the educational process and psychological health, the importance of its development. The purpose of the article is the theoretical and empirical study of students’ reflexivity through its expression in various linguistic markers, the importance of reflexivity in the personal and potential professional development of students. The research methodology and its algorithm were selected due to the purpose of the study. Experimental work included a complex psychological and pedagogical experiment, diagnosing the stated parameters and their subsequent statistical analysis. The study of students’ reflexivity was carried out on the basis of the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia ”(RUDN). Research sampling: reports (essays) of the 1-4 year students. The target group consisted of 98 students, divided into seven subgroups. The results of the study allowed us to conclude that there is a significant interdependence between linguistic markers and students’ reflexivity. Psychological health is a necessary and important condition for the full development of a personality. On the one hand, it ensures the adequate fulfillment of social roles, on the other hand, it creates the possibility of continuous personal and professional development throughout life. Supporting psychological health is one of the urgent tasks in the young age, the most important stage in the formation of a personality. Reflexivity of students, appearing in the process of consulting or training work, manifests itself, first of all, in speech processes. Group reflexivity, in turn, is the main method of psychological training, since it helps to comprehend and integrate the ongoing experience.
2021-08-24T15:40:46-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16265 Role orientations in university and school student youth (based on a sociological study) 2021-08-25T12:32:30-03:00 Vasiliy Nikolaevich Stegniy socio@pstu.ru Lyudmila Nikolaevna Kurbatova socio@pstu.ru Konstantin Anatolievich Antipyev socio@pstu.ru Milana Borisovna Kolesnichenko socio@pstu.ru Sergey Natanovich Smolnikov socio@pstu.ru
The present study examines social roles as a category of sociological science, as well as their role, content, and place in the inner world of a person. Civilizational and cultural changes and changes in social systems including the status and structural alterations lead to modifications in the paradigm of a “social role” and the content of role behavior. The emergence of new phenomena in individuals’ role preferences is to a certain extent determined by the development of the innovation and information space of modern society. This effect is most prominent among young people characterized by a positive attitude to various social changes. Sociological studies conducted among students and pupils in grades 10-11 show the degree of young people’s involvement in specific social roles and the nature of the priority of their choice. The conducted comparative analysis shows the peculiarities of role structure in each group of young people and allows determining the relationship between social statuses and role preferences. Young people’s assessment of the influence of market relations on their role preferences is examined and the peculiarities of this influence are emphasized. Young people’s understanding of the functions of the state in modern Russian society in shaping social roles, as well as their attitude to moral norms and social and legal laws are highlighted. This study was carried out at Tyumen Industrial University, the Branch of IUT in Surgut. The research participants were the first-year students of full-time and part-time departments of the "Oil and Gas Business" direction. The research was done in 2017-2018. Much attention is given to some of the consequences that first-year students have: neuropsychic stress, declining academic progress, and the quality of education. There are reasons for such a state: lack of time, a large amount of information, many classroom hours, irregular distribution of the students' workload intensity of academic disciplines in the first semester, etc. The research gives valuable information on the necessity to improve the system of students' organizational and educational activities, depending on the specific features of a technical university. This study contributes to the existing research on the impact of academic workload on the students' emotional, mental state in higher education. Specifically, it studies the volume of the freshmen's academic workload in accordance with the curriculum, which is one of the main negative factors affecting the level of mental students' performance.
2021-08-25T16:14:55-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16064 Assessing the effects of the modular approach in math learning on independent creativity of university students 2021-09-05T10:57:29-03:00 Elena Zubova zubovaea@inbox.ru
Numerous teachers and researchers are studying the issue of improving the effectiveness of university education and offer innovative technologies to address this challenge. Modular learning is among the most relevant and productive teaching techniques. The paper examines how the modular approach in math learning contributes to the development of independent creativity of university students. The testing was performed at Tyumen Industrial University (Russia) among students of the Applied Geology program numbering 28 individuals in the control group and 27 individuals in the experimental group. The students were given a series of lectures to present new material that was later assimilated and reinforced during practical sessions through blocks and chains of preparatory and auxiliary tasks. To demonstrate their knowledge and grasping of the material, the students passed individual tests and exams. Statistical data were processed using Pearson’s chi-squared test and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Based on the decision-making rule, the research confirms the hypothesis that the modular approach is more effective in forming students’ independent creativity in math learning if compared with conventional education. The research results demonstrate that 92% of students in the experimental group set about solving advanced math problems, while in the control group this share was 61%. The share of students in the experimental group who prepared research projects increased from 52% to 89%, while in the control group their number decreased from 56% to 43%. Among the avenues for further research is an attempt to implement applied research projects not only in math learning, but also in applied subjects of study throughout the entire training period. The development of independent creativity of university students is expected to have a positive effect on their ability to absorb the material of other courses.
2021-08-28T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/16323 On the experience of health professionals’ information competence formation in the framework of continuing professional education 2021-09-05T10:57:25-03:00 Elena Yu. The main task of higher art education is to train a competitive, mobile specialist who has a readiness for self-education throughout his life. When preparing a specialist in higher art education, it is necessary to form in him such knowledge, abilities and skills that will allow him to solve non-standard production problems, use modern technologies, independently analyze the results of his activities, and draw conclusions. Thus, a graduate of institutions of higher art education must be ready to work actively in a changing environment. Teaching focused only on memorizing the material can no longer meet modern requirements. The problem of the formation of such qualities of attention, memory and thinking that allows the student to independently assimilate information, is constantly updated, as well as the development of such abilities and skills, which, preserved even after completing education, would provide him with the opportunity to keep up with the accelerated scientific technical progress. One of the problems of modern education is that graduates experience some difficulties in applying theoretical knowledge in practice. The ability to apply the acquired knowledge, skills and abilities in professional activities cannot appear by itself, for this you need to teach. To solve this problem, it is necessary to introduce the educational design teaching method into the educational process, which today has its own characteristics and problems.
2021-09-05T10:52:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2021 Revista Tempos e Espaços em Educação https://seer.ufs.br/index.php/revtee/article/view/14223 Relationships at school: social representations of supervisors and teachers 2021-09-15T10:51:21-03:00 Luysienne Silva de Oliveira luysienneoliveira@hotmail.com Maria Núbia Barbosa Bonfim bonfim@elointernet.com.br
This study discusses the relations of belonging at school between supervisors and teachers, aiming to analyze in which relational group these authors belong more strongly.
